Since 2014 students from our school have had the opportunity to have an Exchange with the German city of Recklinghausen. The experiences have always been very rewarding because they have learnt the German customs and culture. They have spoken English and Spanish to communicate.
The exchange lies within the bilingual plan of our school where English is the common language. 20 student from 1st Bachillerato go to Recklinghausen (Germany) to the High School Gymnasium Petrium (www.petrium.de). Like most of our exchanges students spend a week in Germany and the German students visit us an other week. The trips take place during the 1st term and the 2nd one. The dates are set according to the exam calendar and organization of the school year. The students have previously been in touch trough the social networks. It is a great experience to learn how to get on in a different country and to learn its culture. There will be two day trips and our students will learn basic German and they will work in ICT proyects.
Desde el 2014 los alumnos de nuestro Centro han tenido la oportunidad de realizar un intercambio con la ciudad alemana de Recklinghausen. Las experiencias han sido siempre muy enriquecedoras ya que han aprendido su cultura y costumbres. Han hablado en español y en inglés pera comunicarse unos con otros.
El Intercambio con Alemania se enmarca dentro del plan bilingüe que nuestro colegio está llevando a cabo para el uso del inglés como lengua vehicular. 20 alumnos de 1º de bachillerato van a Recklinghausen (Alemania) al instituto “Gymnasium Petrium”. Como todos los intercambios, su duración es de una semana en Alemania y otra en España. La 1º fase tiene lugar en el primer trimestre y la segunda en el mes de marzo aproximadamente.
Las fechas a veces varían dependiendo de los exámenes y la organización del curso. Los alumnos de ambos países ha estado en contacto durante varios meses antes del intercambio gracias a las redes sociales. Se trata de una buena experiencia para aprender a desenvolverse en un país diferente y conocer su cultura. Habrá dos excursiones durante el intercambio y los alumnos irán al colegio a aprender alemán básico y trabajar juntos en proyectos.
